We all grew up on super heroes to some extent. Be it with toys, movies, cartoons or comics. Super Heroes were one of the first kinds of stories we all enjoyed. In my opinion one of the best modern super hero comics to have ever been published is The STANDARD from ComixTribe. Masterfully written by Scottish writer John Lees and dynamically illustrated by Canadian superstar Jonathan Rector, The Standard is a return to form from the classic stories of old with a new modern take on what exactly makes a true hero great and with this hero in particular, the STANDARD of what a true hero should always be.
It's a great comic book.
I'm just here to let you know that you can get the entire hardcover collection of this amazing book, right now on KickStarter. The book is fully completed and just awaiting the support of people like you, to make it happen. Here's the link www.kickstarter.com/projects/c…
I could've just given you the pitch line for the book, " An older super hero is forced to come out of retirement to avenge the murder of his sidekick who took up the mantle of The STANDARD. Gilbert Graham finds out that the only thing harder than fitting into his old costume is fitting into the modern world."
As a fan of great comics, I can't recommend this book enough. I sincerely hope you'll give it a look and your support.
Thanks as always.
